One-of-a-Kind Hastalis Fossil Tooth – Original Relic Reef Pit Find

A genuine fossil tooth from the prehistoric shark Carcharodon hastalis, commonly known as the broad-toothed mako.

This unique specimen was recovered from the original Relic Reef pit and features a striking natural gray fossil coloration, large intact root, broad triangular crown, and beautifully preserved natural surface detail.

Unlike the familiar serrated teeth of Megalodon, Carcharodon hastalis is characterized by its smooth, unserrated cutting edges. These sharks were closely related to the lineage that eventually produced the great white shark.

THE RELIC REEF STORY
This isn't a mass-produced replica or an ordinary souvenir. It's a genuine fossil collected from the original Relic Reef pit, making it part of the early history of Relic Reef.
Every fossil tells a different story. This one is completely unique, and once this specimen leaves the collection, there will never be another exactly like it.
